Camas
About This Community
Situated in the eastern hilly portion of Clark County lies the City of Camas, home to over 15,000 residents and several large, hi-tech manufacturing industries. Located along the banks of the Columbia River, this "small" city has become a "big" host to many international companies. From its origin over 100 years ago as a paper-mill town, which still boasts a mill today, Camas has expanded, developed and blended a mix of cultures, values and visions. Camas also plays host to a dormant volcanic hill - Prune Hill that is named for the earlier prune orchards that existed there.
