About This Community
Located north of Vancouver and Hazel Dell with convenient access to I-5 and I-205. Salmon Creek is known for excellent schools, most notably Skyview High School. There are many parks in the area including Klineline Pond, bordering the areas of Hazel Dell and Salmon Creek, and HB Fuller Park, home of Hazel Dell Little League. Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital serves the community with 24 hour emergency services, additional doctor’s offices and labor & delivery. Salmon Creek is also home to Washington State University Vancouver (WSUV) and the Salmon Creek Farmer’s Market. For almost 50 years each May, the Hazel Dell / Salmon Creek Business Association has held the Hazel Dell Parade of Bands. A bit further north, in Ridgefield, is the Sleep Country Amphitheater sponsored in part by Riverview Community Bank.
