Your card, ready when you need it

Digital Card Issuance is a convenient option when you:
- Need access to your card while waiting for a replacement physical card
- Are traveling or unable to visit a Riverview Bank financial center
- Want to make purchases using your phone and digital wallet
Digital card vs digital wallet – what’s the difference?
Digital card issuance and digital wallet are two different features that work together to make accessing and using your card easier.
Digital card issuance provides a new digital card with its own card number, expiration date, and security code when your personal debit card is reported as compromised.
Digital wallet lets you securely add your physical or digital card to a compatible wallet on your phone, such as Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, for convenient contactless payments.
A few things to know
- Digital cards are available for personal debit cards only. Business debit cards are not eligible.
- Your digital card has a different card number from your physical debit card.
- Digital cards can be used for online purchases and in-store purchases where digital wallet or Tap & Pay payments are accepted.
- Card controls, alerts, and spending preferences do not automatically transfer from your compromised card to your new digital card or replacement physical card. Be sure to review and set up your preferences for each card separately.
- A replacement physical debit card is not automatically mailed if your digital card is compromised, only when your physical card is reported compromised.
