Riverview Bank's Paws and Pools program is dedicated to supporting local animal welfare organizations that provide care, shelter, rehabilitation, and adoption services for animals in need. 

 
 
 
Donate supplies to help support these important organizations and the animals they serve.
If you are unable to visit a branch in person, online donations are also welcomed and appreciated.
 
Every contribution helps make a difference.





Humane Society for Southwest Washington

Dedicated to providing shelter, care, and second chances for homeless and vulnerable animals in the region. Through pet adoption programs, community resources, and animal welfare services, the organization helps connect pets with loving families while promoting responsible pet ownership. *Please avoid sending food products with Xylitol, a sweetener that is dangerous for dogs.

Items We Cannot Accept

To ensure the health and safety of the animals in our care, and to reduce the cost of disposing of items we cannot use, we may decline some items.

We cannot accept the following:

    • Freeze dried treats
    • Medications or supplements*
    • Homemade treats or food
    • Pillows or stuffed blankets
    • Items that are damaged, soiled, or torn.
 

West Columbia Gorge Humane Society

Is a nonprofit organization committed to protecting and improving the lives of animals in the Columbia River Gorge region. Through animal sheltering, adoption services, and community support programs, the organization works to ensure pets receive compassionate care while helping them find safe, permanent homes. Nonprofit animal rescue and avian sanctuary serving Southwest Washington, dedicated to helping lost, found, abandoned, and vulnerable animals receive the care they need. Items We Cannot Accept

To ensure the health and safety of the animals in our care, and to reduce the cost of disposing of items we cannot use, we may decline some items.

We cannot accept the following:

    • Rabbit related donations due to the emergence of the RHD virus in Oregon.
    • Any human bedding (comforters, bed sheets, pillows, etc.)
    • Large dog beds that won’t fit in standard washing machines
    • Cat trees
    • No controlled prescription meds at either campus, no RX meds in Salem (we do, however, accept insulin).
    • Pet food that isn’t in original package
    • Dog houses (we do accept Igloo dog houses)
    • Frozen or Freeze Dried food and meat
    • Hay
    • Choke collars or shock collars
    • Flexi-lead retractable leashes
    • Yard stakes and tie-outs
    • Pillows, mattresses and carpet
    • Human clothes (shirts, pants, sweaters, etc.), including fur coats

Mountain Top Wildlife

a nonprofit wildlife rehabilitation organization based in White Salmon, Washington, dedicated to providing medical care and recovery services for sick, injured, and orphaned wild animals. With a focus on rehabilitation, conservation, and community education, the organization works to return wildlife to their natural habitats while promoting peaceful coexistence between people, pets, and native wildlife.
